Century Service is Wirkkala’s last major service. The creation begun in 1973 and was presented as the centenary celebrations of Rosenthal AG in 1979. In the collection of Centre Georges-Pompidou, Paris

Tapio Wirkkalan viimeinen suuri astiasto “Century” esiteltiin Rosenthal AG:n 100-vuotisjuhlissa 1979. Suunnittelu alkoi kuitenkin jo vuonna 1973. Astiaston erityispiirteitä ovat läpinäkyvyys ja se, että kupeilla on kolme pientä jalkaa. Century-astiasto kuluu Pariisissa sijaitsevan Georges Pompidou -keskuksen pysyviin kokoelmiin.
